Accordion Card

For this accordion card I used:

Red card stock, "gold", red and green papers.

Elizabeth "771 Accordion Fancy Label" die set, Spellbinders Poinsettia dies. Images: Beccy. Gold glitter on the flower.

I cut away the small tabs from the die cuts.
I also decorated the back side of the card.

Finally also I arrived to the last letter in Beccy's Holiday Card Challenge: Z. Now I think I have got all of them! And for the last theme "Make what you will", I can say: that is what I have done every day! Such a wonderful crafting month! Well, I think my choice for this letter, - perhaps it is not "holy" enough? But I think that also Baby Jesus was snoring in his crib, just like other babies do.

Christmas Card With Scandinavian Christmas Baskets

As I was a little girl home in Norway, and also as I was a teacher there, we every Advent used to make the traditional Christmas baskets for the tree. Here on this card they are in a simpler form. The basket die is from Marianne Design. Circle die: Spellbinders. Corner punch: EK Success. Text written on computer.

The traditional way is to cut the paper with the scissors. For small fingers it was always difficult to get the parts together.

Patterned paper: Craft Sensations. Red and yellow and creme papers. Gold glitter.

Today it is the last day of this year's "Beccy's Holiday Card Challenge".  It has been such a wonderful month! I think I have still got some letters to do. 😏
And I think I have got some new "friends" this year. It would have been nice to get new followers on my blog, too!

For this card I used:
White card stock. Marbled paper: Sigel. Green scraps. Red and green pens (Stabilo), silver glitter glue.  Foliage punch: Atelier Terziev, corner punch: EK Success. Stamp: Ricoh.

Christmas Window Card

The image on this card is taken from a vintage Christmas gift paper. Well, the paper is new, but the image is old.

I used white card stock for the card and for the panel.

I glued the image to the card. Then I die cut the window and embossed the card stock. Glued the embossed card stock on the card and made an "icy" frame with glitter glue.

Embossing folder: Darice "Crackled". Die: From Elizabeth "Accordion" die set.

They Had To Flee

As I used this (for me new) die from Nellie Snellen, the story about the Holy Family who had to flee from Herodes to Egypt, made me again think of how Jesus has been and still is hated by many people. My prayer is that we this Christmas time will open our hearts for Him. He is the answer for our world. Not as a little sweet child from the Bible history. But as our Saviour.

****

I used white card stock and black paper. Marbled paper: Sigel. The red "frame" is a leftover form an accordion card die I used last week. Unfortunately I got some glue on the red paper, so I had to hide it with glitter glue.

Die: Nellie Snellen "Nativity". Scraps from Elizabeth "Accordion card" die cut.

The second one is another photo of the same card I showed yesterday. Here I used the negative die cut for a card I want to keep here at home. The negative is too good only to throw away!

Envelopes For Gift Tags

This year I want to send gift tags as a little Advent present for some of my friends. That is the reason why I am making lots of gift tags out of paper boxes, more than we need ourselves. (Recycling. 👍)

We had planned to go to Norway for Christmas. It would have been the first time since 16 years to celebrate Christmas with my family! I have my children and grandchildren there. But then came a well known disease and stopped all our plans. Well, we,  - as all other people around the world, have to do the best out of this situation.

Now I make envelopes for the tags. An envelope with some tags within will be sent together with the Christmas card. Here are two of the envelopes I made with my Envelope Punch Bord. More are to come. 😉 They are a bit great for these tags, but I hope the persons who get them will use them also for other tags.

Paper for the envelopes: Bringmann. Dies: Beccy and Free dearie Dolls. Die: WeR Memory Keepers Nesting Card.

Here are 20 of the tags I made with Marianne Design Tag die:

Tools: Cuttlebug and WeR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Bord.

CAS Christmas Card Silver Bell

I love this digi, which I bought from Beccy's store some days ago. Here I have used it on a CAS Christmas card. The sentiment is a stamp from Ricoh. Blue distress ink and silver pen for the edges, silver pen also on the letters to give them depth. The blue scrap paper is a bit structured. I don't know from whom it is.

The image on this Christmas card is from an old one, where Christmas music was the theme. I wanted to keep the golden notes around the tree.

These gift tags are made of a package for night wear. Such a big package gives lots of tags! And I cannot eat ice cream all day to get materials for recycled tags! 😂

Again I used the tag die from Marianne. Both images are from Beccy. The sentiments are written on computer and roughly torn. Blue distress ink and blue pen on the blue tags, brown distress ink and green pen on the poinsettia skate tag. The patterned papers are from Sigel (marbled) and one unknown.

Christmas Window Card, Vintage

Yesterday I had no opportunity to make cards. Due to the strong Covid restrictions to gather in Churches, I did not join my husband to the services the last weeks. But for yesterday he had asked me to sing a song in every one of the three services he held. It was a special day, thinking of the dear ones who had died since the last Sunday of Church year one year ago. Otherwise there is only one service per Sunday. To give place for everyone who wanted to come, there were three of them yesterday. I sung three different songs, accompanying myself on the guitar. And people were thankful.

Well, today I am crafting again.  Here is the first card, showing a vintage winter scene.

I used: White card stock, red and green scraps.

Embossing folder: Darice. Dies: Spellbinders Oval and poinsettia. Gold glitter.

Christmas Card Reindeer

I made this Christmas card without any extra layer but the die cuts.

The card is a dark blue double card. The die cuts are made from a white card stock. Dies: Nellie Snellen "Reindeer" and Spellbinders "Star". I hand drew the tree and the border with a silver pen. I decided to have no sentiment on the card at this time. It depends on what language I want to have, Norwegian, English or German.
Tool for the dies: Cuttlebug.

With a Marianne Design tag die I cut two tags from an ice cream package. (Once again 😄) The same I did with the marbled paper from Sigel. I glued the patterned paper on the tag. Brown distress ink, red pen and "gold" glitter (stars) finished the tags.

The papers I used for the die cuts on this card are just scraps from the cards I made the last days: Red, gold and two green colours.
For the background I used a Penny Black "Holly" stencil and dark green distress ink on the white card stock. So there is no mat on this card. The card is double.

Dies used:

Marianne Design: Candles and Pine twigs; Papirdesign: Holly.
