Christmas Card With Snowflake

For this CAS Christmas card I used dark blue cardstock and only two dies:
French Lily Corner (Joy!Craft) and
Snowflake (Marianne Design).
The white papers are scraps (snippets)

Journaling Card For My Christmas Journal

This is a simple, thin A6 card, 200 gr.
I did not glue anything on the backside to enforce it.
The scoreboard was used for the lines around the edges.
The image is from Gi Kerr's "Shabby blue Christmas".
I wanted to give the card a cold look,
so I only used light blue Versacolor ink around the edges and for the trees,
and a little silver glitter on the icicles.
Unfortunately the picture does not show the glitter.
For the trees I used a selfmade stencil.

Christmas Mini Card 3

I used:
Embossing folder: Darice "Crackled",
Snippets from a holly die cut (Papirdesign),
red half pearls for the berries.
German Christmas greeting written on computer.
Distress Ink: Candied red.

Christmas Card White On White

It was not easy to make a picture of this card,
so I had to use paperclips to keep it closed.
However, they do not belong to the card. 😏

I used white cardstock, scored and foldet it.
On the right side I scored three lines to give the card a little extra structure.
Three dies: Nellie Snellen "Landscape".
Silver glitter glue.

Christmas Tag Children

As my husband recently bought a new shirt, I asked for the papers, cardboards etc.
So here comes an upcycled tag that I made from some of that stuff.
I love to use "trash" for my projects.

Dies used: Spellbinders tag and We R Memory Keepers Nesting Card.
Image: Wenche Jensen.
White gesso and Frosted Lace Stickles for the snow.

Frohe Weihnachten, Tag

Also this year I've taken place in Beccy's Holiday Card Challenge.
Such great fun!
And it gave me a kick to get started with cards and tags again.
Since I became the sickness fibromyalgia I cannot do all the things I made earlier.
I had planned to take place on a Christmas market, like I have done earlier years,
but now my health says no to be standing outside in snow and cold weather.

This tag has got an image from the Norwegian designer Wenche Jensen.
Dies: Spellbinders Scalloped Oval and WeR Memory Keepers Nesting Card.
Light blue distress ink.

Christmas Card

I made a folded Christmas card.
Red card base, white paper.
The idea to this card I found here,
And this is not inside my comfort zone!
But I wanted to give it a try.
And I also found it rather difficult to take pictures of the card. 😁

Snowflake embossing folder: unknown.
Square dies: Find IT (New dies for me).
Trees: Some leftovers from a Nellie Snellen die cut.

A Little Winter Journal

Happy New Year from Switzerland!
We had a wonderful Christmas time with my family in Norway!
I am so happy we could be there!
It was my first Norwegian Christmas since I moved to Switzerland 2005.

One of the gifts for my granddaughter was a little winter journal made with the "Shades of Winter" set from "Happiness in Crafting" by Gi Kerr.
I also used images and sentiments from Beccy for some of the tags and journal cards.
Different winterly dies and stamps, stencils and embossing folders were used to give the journal a personal look. The papers to write on are coffee stained.
Self coloured seam binding for the closure and the tags,
and of course lots of glitter (Stickles) and distress inks.
Unfortunately I forgot to make fotos of the tags outside the pockets.

Winter journal, front.

An image from Beccy on the little oval tag.

This tag has got an image and a sentiment from Beccy
and coffee coloured seam binding for the bow.

Christmas Gift Tag

Here is a new upcycled gift tag from me.
I love upcycling / recycling, so I will post this one under the label "Do what you want" (Beccy's Holiday Challenge).
I used a cake box card board, coffee stained paper and an image found on Pinterest.
White paper cord (folia).

Vintage Tag

I am still working on my upcycling projects.
When the box has got only one colour and not a writing or an illustration which I don't want to keep on my tag, I glue the image directly to the tag. And this red fits so well with the girl's dress. So this tag is a simple one. The image is from Pinterest, I think. I love the joy in the children's faces.
And the box? A food package. 😊
