Christmas Journaling Card

 When you buy a new shirt and see that the tag that comes with it
would be useful for a vintage journaling card, you cannot just throw it away.
This tag will fit in my next junk journal.

I coved both sides of the tag with rustic packing paper.
On the front I also used a piece of a book page (copy).
Red cotton twine.
The image is from Happiness in Crafting (Gi Kerr).

Vintage Tag

 As background for this angel image I used a copy of a book page.
The paper got coffee dyed and slightly coloured with distress inks.
The image is from the Norwegian fb group "digistamp", but I have seen it on other places too.
I made the tag out of an ice cream box. Tag die: Spellbinders.

Christmas Card, Angel

 Sometimes I use images from Pinterest on a card.
This time I found the angel and also the Christmas carol there.
I think both are a bit vintage.

Cream double card size A6.
I fussy cut the angel image and glued it to the  music paper.
A little bit of Stickles on the tree.

This carol we sung in Norwegian in the choir where I was a member as I was young.
Good memories.

Vintage Tag

I am still working on my upcycling projects.
When the box has got only one colour and not a writing or an illustration which I don't want to keep on my tag, I glue the image directly to the tag. And this red fits so well with the girl's dress. So this tag is a simple one. The image is from Pinterest, I think. I love the joy in the children's faces.
And the box? A food package. 😊

Christmas Gift Tag Number 8

I think this is the first year since Beccy started her
Month of Holiday Cards Challenge 10 years ago,
that I have not posted something every single day.
This year is a bit difficult for me.
Some days are good, other days not at all.
And crafting, which is my dearest hobby, must be set aside.
When the body strikes, I have to give up.

But today is a good day,
and I managed to make something that wasn't too difficult.
I have still got some pieces of my cake box, so here comes another gift tag.

Images: Beccy.
Some days ago I ordered the "Holly days", so the holly sprig is from that set.
Coffee stained paper (of course 😏), Vintage Photo Distress ink.
Paper twine.

I found the image on Pinterest.

Two Vintage Christmas Tags

For these two Christmas tags I used a backing paper from Gi Kerr for the background.
Behind the fussy cut image from Pinterest I glued a piece of cheesecloth.
The border around the edges was made with a red pen.
Silver glitter.

Christmas Window Card, Vintage

Yesterday I had no opportunity to make cards. Due to the strong Covid restrictions to gather in Churches, I did not join my husband to the services the last weeks. But for yesterday he had asked me to sing a song in every one of the three services he held. It was a special day, thinking of the dear ones who had died since the last Sunday of Church year one year ago. Otherwise there is only one service per Sunday. To give place for everyone who wanted to come, there were three of them yesterday. I sung three different songs, accompanying myself on the guitar. And people were thankful.

Well, today I am crafting again.  Here is the first card, showing a vintage winter scene.

I used: White card stock, red and green scraps.

Embossing folder: Darice. Dies: Spellbinders Oval and poinsettia. Gold glitter.

Vintage Christmas Card

I find this winter scene
with the two girls on the lake ice
so adorable!
So I just wanted to have them on a card
at day 10 over at Beccy's November Challenge: The letter "I".
But to make a picture of a card decorated with glitter
 in the middle of the night, is not easy.

Well, here it is,
and
I used:

Spellbinders Oval die.
Sentiment: Rico Design stamp
and green distress ink.
Snowflake stamp: Hein Design
and silver distress ink.
Corner punch: Heyda.
Glitter glue, silver.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

Julekort Med Julekurv

The last weekend I was absent and could not make a single card.
First today I could sit down in my craft room again
and make a Christmas card.
In the "Alphabet Challenge" over at Beccy's place
I have come to "J".
And because "Christmas" is "Jul" in the Scandinavian languages,
I made a "Julekort" - a Christmas card.

I used:
Double card A6, creme;
Marbled cream paper for the mat;
Red and green scrap papers;
Paper: Christmas greetings in different languages,
(I don't remember from whom it is);
Julekurv (Christmas basket): Marianne Design die;
Distress ink and pen, both brown.
