Poinsettias, - But Not On A Card

What do you do when your poinsettia from last Christmas still only have green leaves?
I think the plant is too beautiful to be thrown away.
So I helped it a little.
With some poinsettia dies (mine are from Spellbinders),
I made a couple of flowers/red leaves.
The tiny flowers in the middle are still missing.
Perhaps I will just add a little gold glitter.

Journal Card Snowflake

This journal card has paper from Gi Kerr.
Snowflake die: Marianne Design
Stickles: Frosted Lace on the snowflake.
I tried to draw a little border, but I think my metallic ink pen is rather dry.

Two Wedding Journals

I made two journals for a friend of mine.
She wanted them for two weddings in may.
Papers, images and sentiments are from Happiness in Crafting,
W.Jensen Design and Beccy's Place.

There are many coffee dyed papers and small note books for journaling.
The journals are a bit different inside.

Here are some fotos.

To keep the two journaling cards on their places,
I used a die cut (Spellbinders Oval) with a sentiment from Beccy on the left side,
and a butterfly from Gi on the right side.
The cards are glued to the paper on one side.

Die: Marianne Design.
All other images: Gi Kerr.

Sentiment: Beccy

A New Journal, "Winter Warmth"

I made this little journal as a gift for a friend of mine.
She loves teddybears, so I placed some cute ones inside.

Papers, images and sentiments are from "Happiness in Crafting" (Gi Kerr).
Coffee stained papers for writing. (Those pages are not shown here.)

Closure: Tea dyed seam binding.

In the little pocket to the left there is a little note book, a tag and a paper to write on.

Border punch for the tag: Martha Stewart.
And the first little Teddy.

Candle die: Marianne Design.
Cheese cloth, doodling.

Here I used a paper from Beccy for the pocket.
Flower punch: EK Success.
Tag and Teddy: Gi Kerr.

Another candle die from Marianne Design.
In the pocket to the left there is a little envelope with a matching writing paper inside.

For the writing place on this page I used
"Doily Circle" die (Lifestyle).
Word and image: Gi Kerr.

The third litte Teddy is on this pocket made out of a "normal" craft paper envelope.
Two journal cards have also got their place there.

Birthday Card

Some weeks ago Beccy asked me on my blog
if I would be taking part in a Christmas marked this year.
I did not answer, because I did not know.
Earlier years I loved to take part on such markets,
but with the different diseases I've got the last years,
is it rather difficult to stay outside for hours in cold winter weather.
So I thought I had to think about it.

But this Sunday I got an invitation to take part in a spring marked!
And I said YES!
So now I have to hurry up, getting new cards, journals and knitted stuff ready.
I'm full of inspiration and happiness.
Here we go! 😊

My first card for this marked has got an image and sentiment from Beccy.
Embossing folder: Lifestyle.
Dies: Spellbinders "Oval", Elizabeth "Curvy Leaves",
WeR Memory Keepers "Nesting Card".
Flower punch: EK Success, Corner punch unknown.
Stickles on the flowers, Stabilo marker for the faux stitching.

Flamazing

Amazing? - or Flamazing?
- for this birthday girl I think that is just the same.

The image and the sentiment are from Beccy's Place.
I used a patterned paper from Sigel for the mat.
The little pink panel is a leftover from another cardstock which I embossed.
Embossing folder: Lifestyle.
I also used gesso on the embossed paper to take away the shiny surface.

Dies: Papirdesign label for the sentiment and Spellbinders tag for the image panel.
Versacolor inks, glitter glue, Stabilo marker.
