Christmas Tag For Rudolph Days

Today I made a Christmas tag and used a napkin for the first time! I've still got much to learn about napkin technique. So this is a sort of "try and error".  The napkin is a very old one which I've had in my stash for years.

The tag is a die cut from a food package. So this is one of my upcycling projects.

I also used a tiny piece of green scrap paper for the corner.

Tag die: Spellbinders, Corner die: La-La-Land.

"Gold" glitter glue, red ribbon, brown ink on the edges.

Tool: Cuttlebug.

Tags, Upcycling

I continue my use of old materials for tags. Love upcycling! These tags are made from a package for clothing. There are so many packages we can recycle in our time! And small pieces of them can be used for tags. Today I made some Christmas gift tags, but later on I will make some for birthday presents.

I used:
Tag die: Spellbinders.

Image: Beccy.

Stabilo markers for the edges.

Accordion Card, blue

After the active month of November, I was a bit fed up with crafting. But now I start again, and today with a blue accordion card. I used only images for this card, and I decorated both sides of it. Most images are from Beccy, only the angel is from a french vintage painting.

Christmas Card White On White

I thought I would help Beccy to reach the number of entrances from last year. But now I see  I have to give up that plan.

This will be the last card from me to this year's wonderful Holiday Challenge.

I used: White card stock. Embossing folder: Tim Holtz. Die: Nellie Snellen.

Scandinavian Christmas Basket

Today I made a traditional Christmas basket to hang on the tree. You can put a little sweet in it if you want.

Now it was not easy for my old fingers to make it. But such baskets reminds me of my childhood's Christmases back home in Norway. So I try to make one or two of them each year.

I used:

Red and gold papers. On this photo the red looks a bit lighter than it really is.

Marianne Design die.

Christmas Decoration, Angels

These two angels I will put on the tree or hang them in the window. But to make this photo I now let them lie on the table. The dress is meant to be bent back.

Die: Marianne Design. Light blue patterned paper: Sigel.

Surrounded By Angels

Finally also I arrived to the last letter in Beccy's Holiday Card Challenge: Z. Now I think I have got all of them! And for the last theme "Make what you will", I can say: that is what I have done every day! Such a wonderful crafting month! Well, I think my choice for this letter, - perhaps it is not "holy" enough? But I think that also Baby Jesus was snoring in his crib, just like other babies do.

For this card I used:

Creme and white card stock. Patterned paper: Maja Design. Image: Beccy. Spellbinders Scalloped Oval die. Corner punch: EK Success. Gold glitter. Brown distress ink and pen.

Christmas Card With Scandinavian Christmas Baskets

As I was a little girl home in Norway, and also as I was a teacher there, we every Advent used to make the traditional Christmas baskets for the tree. Here on this card they are in a simpler form. The basket die is from Marianne Design. Circle die: Spellbinders. Corner punch: EK Success. Text written on computer.

The traditional way is to cut the paper with the scissors. For small fingers it was always difficult to get the parts together.

Patterned paper: Craft Sensations. Red and yellow and creme papers. Gold glitter.
