As I was a little girl home in Norway, and also as I was a teacher there, we every Advent used to make the traditional Christmas baskets for the tree. Here on this card they are in a simpler form. The basket die is from Marianne Design. Circle die: Spellbinders. Corner punch: EK Success. Text written on computer.
The traditional way is to cut the paper with the scissors. For small fingers it was always difficult to get the parts together.
Patterned paper: Craft Sensations. Red and yellow and creme papers. Gold glitter.

Those baskets look fun to make. I bet it is so much easier with a die as you would need to be really accurate with scissors! I like the yellow and burgundy combination.
AntwortenLöschenThese are lovely Liv, great colour combination. I've just realised they are the first traditional decorations I've seen this year, usually there are quite a few of these beautiful woven baskets but I don't think anyone else created them this time. Thank you for sharing!
