I love making journals and smaller folders.
Here are some pictures from my Easter folder,
made with papers from Gi Kerr (Happiness in Crafting).
The dies are:
Spellbinders "Oval" and "Scalloped Oval", Studio Light "Butterfly", Nellie Snellen "Grass".
For the label on the tag I used WeR Memory Keepers "Nesting Card".

I also used Lace, Seam Binding, Fabric, Stickles

Christmas Journaling Card

When you buy a new shirt and see that the tag that comes with it
would be useful for a vintage journaling card, you cannot just throw it away.
This tag will fit in my next junk journal.

I coved both sides of the tag with rustic packing paper.
On the front I also used a piece of a book page (copy).
Red cotton twine.
The image is from Happiness in Crafting (Gi Kerr).

A Little Folder

I am so happy!
If you read my post some minutes ago, I think you could understand my confusion.
I was not able to log in on Blogspot.
But now I'm here again, after months of absence.
So here we go! 😊

I made a little folder with coffee dyed papers for writing.
The designer papers are from Happiness in Crafting.

The text says
Each Day is a Gift

Two Wedding Journals

I made two journals for a friend of mine.
She wanted them for two weddings in may.
Papers, images and sentiments are from Happiness in Crafting,
W.Jensen Design and Beccy's Place.

There are many coffee dyed papers and small note books for journaling.
The journals are a bit different inside.

Here are some fotos.

To keep the two journaling cards on their places,
I used a die cut (Spellbinders Oval) with a sentiment from Beccy on the left side,
and a butterfly from Gi on the right side.
The cards are glued to the paper on one side.

Die: Marianne Design.
All other images: Gi Kerr.

Sentiment: Beccy

A New Journal, "Winter Warmth"

I made this little journal as a gift for a friend of mine.
She loves teddybears, so I placed some cute ones inside.

Papers, images and sentiments are from "Happiness in Crafting" (Gi Kerr).
Coffee stained papers for writing. (Those pages are not shown here.)

Closure: Tea dyed seam binding.

In the little pocket to the left there is a little note book, a tag and a paper to write on.

Border punch for the tag: Martha Stewart.
And the first little Teddy.

Candle die: Marianne Design.
Cheese cloth, doodling.

Here I used a paper from Beccy for the pocket.
Flower punch: EK Success.
Tag and Teddy: Gi Kerr.

Another candle die from Marianne Design.
In the pocket to the left there is a little envelope with a matching writing paper inside.

For the writing place on this page I used
"Doily Circle" die (Lifestyle).
Word and image: Gi Kerr.

The third litte Teddy is on this pocket made out of a "normal" craft paper envelope.
Two journal cards have also got their place there.

Journal Pages

Two pages from my new Christmas journal.
Paper from Gi and Beccy (the little pocket to the right),
images from old Christmas cards (left) and from Gi (the tag on the right side).

Journaling Card For My Christmas Journal

This is a simple, thin A6 card, 200 gr.
I did not glue anything on the backside to enforce it.
The scoreboard was used for the lines around the edges.
The image is from Gi Kerr's "Shabby blue Christmas".
I wanted to give the card a cold look,
so I only used light blue Versacolor ink around the edges and for the trees,
and a little silver glitter on the icicles.
Unfortunately the picture does not show the glitter.
For the trees I used a selfmade stencil.

Christmas Journal Card

Last week Beccy asked me in a comment if my tags are thought for a journal
or for a Christmas marked.
The tags and cards I have made so far I hope to sell on a market.

But today I show a journaling card that I made for my new Christmas Journal.
I want to make a journal just for me. 😊

As so many of the things I make, also this one is upcycled.

The cardstock is from an ice box,
The papers are snippets from a coffee stained paper
and a copy of a music paper.
Image: Gi (Happiness in Crafting).
I also used gesso, stamp, water colour pencils, distress ink and a blue marker for the dots.
This card is a little out of my comfort zone, but I like it.
(On this photo the gold around the image is too yellow.)

Autumn / Fall Journal

Yesterday I finished this journal. I had so much fun making it!
The patterned papers and images are mostly from Gi, a couple of them from Beccy.
The papers for journaling are coffee stained.
I also made some tags and note books for writing.
The autumn leaves on most of the pages are made with
Memory Box "Falling Maple" stencil.
I also used two maple leaves punches: Artoz (the bigger one) and one unbranded.
Closure: Seam binding coloured with Dylusions Sprays.

On the page to the right  I used gesso to get a little structure.

Behind this tag there is a little note book

The note book behind the tag

A little pocket with a tag.
Cheesecloth and a little punched maple leaf on the tag.
The paper for the leaf is from Beccy.
