Origami Box

Origami is new for me. Wether my eyes nor my fingers are used to that accurate work.
But I hope I will learn more by practicing, so I'll try again.

I made this little box / pouch to store Christmas images which I am going to use later.
Through the whole year there are Christmas challenges popping up,
and I want to have my small images and sentiments gathered.

I used a coffee stained paper, size A 4.
To know this is a box for Christmas images (I also made boxes for other themes),
I decorated it with a holly image from Beccy and a red ribbon.
Heart punch: Atelier Terziev.
Distress ink: Wallnut Stain.

Closure: a "Christmas red" ribbon

Images waiting to be used

I glued the ribbon to the bottom with a punched heart.

The Flower Challenge  (Is a box ok?)

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: Mother's Day

Today we have another challenge for you over at Cuttlebug Mania.
In some countries we are celebrating Mother's Day in May,
and this is also our theme for this challenge.

I made a little box and used:
Nellie's Wrapping Box die.
The flowers are also from the same die set.
Leaves: Elizabeth Curvy leaves dies.
WeR Memory Keepers Nesting Card die
on the back side of the box.

The paper for the box is Panduro "Paper Pad Pearl".
Paper for the leaves: Scraps from Dovercraft "Garden Party".
Yellow, creme and purple scrap papers.
Gems.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge Christmas Time

The next challenge over at Cuttlebug Mania is
 "Christmas Time".

I made two small Christmas pillow boxes,
thought for chocolate or other goodies.

I used:
Green and red papers.
Pillow box die: Nellie Snellen,
Poinsettia dies: Spellbinders,
Embossing folders: Cuttlebug and Darice.
Silver glitter glue.

Pillow Box With Butterflies

I made a little pillow box and used:

Green card stock,
Snippets of three different yellow/orange papers.
Pillow box die: Nellie Snellen.
Butterfly die: Studio Light.
Embossing folder: Swiss Dots (Cuttlebug).
Glitter glue.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

Four Tags In A Mini Box

I made a little gift for a friend of mine.
At first I only thought of giving her some tags,
but then I thought I could make a little box
for these mini cards.
My rather old fingers cannot make fine works,
so I struggled a bit with the box and the bows.
But I think I can bring my friend this little gift
when I see her tomorrow afternoon.

For the tags I used:
White card stock, 2 different whites.
Embossing folder: Swiss Dots, Cuttlebug.
Image: "Arum Lilies", from Beccy's "Lovely Lilies" set.
Light pink ribbon.

For the box I used:
Pink card stock,
Patterned paper: Craft Sensations.
Spellbinders Scalloped Circle (on the back side)
and Spellbinders heart die.
Stamp: Heyda.
Light pink ribbon.
Rhine stone.
I glued the little heart so that it can hold the upper part of the box.

Christmas Box

Just now I am trying to make box cards and mall boxes.
A couple of weeks ago I bought an envelope punch board,
and I am learning how to be comfortable
with this (for me) quite new tool.
Here is my first Christmas box.
Inside there are 4 tea lights.
But I think I also will use boxes like this one for candies.

Recipe:
Creme paper,
Red and green scrap papers.
Embossing folder: Swiss Dots (Cuttlebug).
Spellbinders Poinsettia and Circle dies.
Brown distress ink, silver glitter.

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: Ribbon and Bows

It is Tuesday,
and that means a new challenge over at Cuttlebug Mania.
Today the theme is "Ribbon and Bows".

I made a candy box with place for 3 "Branches" chocolates.
They are popular here in Switzerland.
The box is made with a WeR Memory Keepers Candy Box punch.
Dies used:
Label (Papirdesign), "Ivy" (Cottage Cutz), Butterfly (Studio Light "Home and Happiness").
Flowers: EK Success punch.
I also used distress ink, glitter and rhinestones.
Rabbit image: Free Dearie Dolls.
Scrap papers, different colours and purple ribbons.
Easter wish written on my computer.
On one of the sides there is place to write a greeting.

Litt hekling
