Crafting Happiness

Easter Card

Some weeks ago I bought these crocus dies. Today I used them for the first time. I thought the crocuses would look good on an Easter card, so I made one for a friend of mine in Norway. On the left inside of the card I made a little pocket for a tag and wrote a well known children's Easter song, that also is good to read and to sing for adults. It says:

"The cross is empty! The tomb is empty! Jesus arose and he lives!"

Yes! This is Easter!

For the card I used:
White card stock, scraps of purple, cream, yellow and green card stock.

Patterned paper: ABMTTC.

Dies:
Marianne Design:
Crocus; Cottage Cutz: Easter Cross; Papirdesign: Label, Spellbinders: Tag.
I also used: Brown Distress Ink, Rhine stones, Glitter, Yellow cotton yarn for the tag.
For the pocket I used the same patterned paper as on the front of the card. On the tag (upcycled) I glued a piece of an Easter napkin.

Easter / Spring Card

For this Easter card
I made the background with a self made stencil
on a patterned paper.
The paper is a marbled one from Sigel.
I made a flower stencil with EK Success flower punch
and used Nuvo Shimmer Powder "Cherry Bomb"
to get that special pink.
The green dots are made with a green pen.
I used the same pen for the faux stitches.
The image is Cottage Cutz "Daffodil Flower Stamp And Die",
painted with Tombow and Water color pencils.
The label die is from Papirdesign.
Brown distress ink around the edges,
Pink Rhinestones.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

Easter Card

I made this Easter card in a quite another way
than I have done earlier.
I stamped a frame of flowers on the white card stock;
used a flower stamp from Craft Sensations and brown distress ink.
Then I coloured the flowers with coloured pencils.
The middle of the card was coloured with water colour pencils.
The image and the sentiment are both from Beccy.
I used the precoloured image
and painted some of the eggs with Nuvo Shimmer Powder
to give the image a personal touch.
3D pads on the back of the eggs.
Also the gold on the sentiment
is made with Nuvo Shimmer Powder.
Image fussy cut,
Label: WeR Memory Keepers Nesting Card die.
Green pen for the faux stitches.

Easter Card / Osterkarte

This stamp from Nellie Snellen I bought one year ago,
but first yesterday I made a card with it.
I stamped the rooster on white cardstock
and coloured him with Tombow and Nuvo Shimmer Powder.
It was not easy to get the powder on the right places.
But I like how the rooster looks like though.
After the image was dry,
I fussy cut it and mounted it with 3D pads on white cardstock.
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug.
Corner punch: Heyda.
Norwegian Easter greeting written on computer.
Cream scrap paper,
 Die: Papirdesign.
Green pen for the faux stitches,
"Silver" half pearls.
Tool: Cuttlebug.

Papirdesign: Label.

EK Success "Flower", Heyda "Corner".

Kluter i "krokusfarger"

I min barndoms hage hjemme i Bergen,
