Yesterday I had no opportunity to make cards. Due to the strong Covid restrictions to gather in Churches, I did not join my husband to the services the last weeks. But for yesterday he had asked me to sing a song in every one of the three services he held. It was a special day, thinking of the dear ones who had died since the last Sunday of Church year one year ago. Otherwise there is only one service per Sunday. To give place for everyone who wanted to come, there were three of them yesterday. I sung three different songs, accompanying myself on the guitar. And people were thankful.
Well, today I am crafting again. Here is the first card, showing a vintage winter scene.
I used: White card stock, red and green scraps.
Embossing folder: Darice. Dies: Spellbinders Oval and poinsettia. Gold glitter.

Beautiful winter scene. I like that you have kept it clean with the white embossing and the one poinsettia. It reminds me of cards of older times.
AntwortenLöschenI can't imagine how hard it is to have to do extra services just so that everyone who wants to can attend. We have been very fortunate that we have had very little community transmission for some time and what we have had has been brought back under control. We have very few restrictions in place at the moment - just masks on planes and some public transport.
I'm glad to hear you had a chance to attend church Liv, this virus has closed down so many things that are important to people. Singing for each service sounds lovely, although I am sorry to hear that you have lost many of your parishioners since a year ago.
AntwortenLöschenYour card is beautiful. I love all the white space you left, it allows a lot more of the embossed pattern to show. The little image is adorable and has a wonderful vintage vibe, and of course, I just love the poinsettia embellishment. Wonderful.
Cheers,
Beccy
A great card - thanks for sharing it with us at Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge.
