They Had To Flee

As I used this (for me new) die from Nellie Snellen, the story about the Holy Family who had to flee from Herodes to Egypt, made me again think of how Jesus has been and still is hated by many people. My prayer is that we this Christmas time will open our hearts for Him. He is the answer for our world. Not as a little sweet child from the Bible history. But as our Saviour.

I used white card stock and black paper. Marbled paper: Sigel. The red "frame" is a leftover form an accordion card die I used last week. Unfortunately I got some glue on the red paper, so I had to hide it with glitter glue.

Die: Nellie Snellen "Nativity". Scraps from Elizabeth "Accordion card" die cut.

The second one is another photo of the same card I showed yesterday. Here I used the negative die cut for a card I want to keep here at home. The negative is too good only to throw away!

  1. I like the addition of the glitter glue Liv, it looks like stars. The die cut is beautiful, I can imagine you using this to create many wonderful cards.

  2. Great card Liv. I like that you were able to rescue the glue issue with some glitter and as a result have a lovely sparkle to the card.
