On Christmas Eve 1818 the Christmas carol "Silent Night" was sung for the first time. And of course in the German language. Then it was written in Austria. Since then this wonderful carol is sung across the world, and I think everyone knows it. The sentiment on this card is taken from that song:
"Christ, der Retter ist da", - "Christ, the Savior is born".
I used:
White double card, blue paper. Green and yellow scrap papers.
Image: Beccy.
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug.
Dies:
Tag and Holly: Papirdesign. Star: Spellbinders.
Corner punch: EK Success.
Blue distress ink. White pen. Gold glitter.
Beccy's Place (Day 3. C: Christ)

Beautiful card great use of Beccy's image.
AntwortenLöschenLovely card Liv. Thanks for explaining the sentiment - a good choice for your image. I have that same embossing folder - never thought to use it for a Christmas card but it makes a wonderful background for Beccy's image.
AntwortenLöschenI'm back again with my DT hat on. Thank you for entering the Something Beginning with H Challenge at CHNC.
LöschenThe deep blue background is beautiful Liv, and makes me think of the night sky. I love the sprigs of holly and the beautiful big star you added to the design. Great fussy cutting too.
AntwortenLöschenCheers,

Beautiful card Liv! I remember singing Stille Nacht when I was at boarding school in Germany. A favourite of mine.
