But through Beccy's encouragement I fetched the set from the box where I had stored it and started. This time I only had thin paper, but next time I will use a thicker one, so that the card can stand better. And I did not use all the dies of the set. I only wanted to see what it looks like when the pieces are glued together. This first test I will keep here by myself. But the next accordion cards I will make for friends.
Thank you, Beccy! You got me out of my comfort zone once again!
I used:
Red paper, patterned papers from Bo Bunny and Creative World of Crafts.
Dies:
Elizabeth "771 Accordion Fancy Label", Spellbinders Poinsettia, Papirdesign Tag.
All images: Beccy. Sentiment written on computer.
Brown distress ink and pen, silver pen on the poinsettia.
Beccy's Place Day 12: Try something new

Wonderful card, great design.
AntwortenLöschenThis is lovely Liv. I can see you using this die a lot now that you have got it out and made this lovely card. I like the centre panels being double sided. Keeping your first one is a good idea when you go back and make it again. I have a box of some of the cards that I have made for Beccy's previous November Challenges that I have kept as a reference (particularly the tricky ones).
AntwortenLöschenWow, what a beautiful card Liv! The cutting die is fabulous and has created such a fantastic project. The little images you used are wonderful and I like the patterned papers you paired them with too. Good on you for stepping outside your comfort zone and trying something new.
AntwortenLöschenCheers,
Beccy
