Christmas Card

The text on this Christmas card is taken from one of the most loved Christmas Hymns in Norway. It tells about the birth of Christ and how I will respond to God's greatest gift to mankind. Already as I was a child, I loved this song with an old Norwegian melody. When I sing it Church, I love to sing it without any instrument.

This card was ordered by a woman in Norway. And she wanted the name of the person who will get it on the front of the card.

Recipe:

Image (pre coloured): Beccy.

Dies: WeR Memory Keepers Nesting Card; Papirdesign Holly and Label.
All sentiments written on computer.

  1. Beautiful image! Brings to the forfront the true meaning of Christmas.
My Mom did not like to receive any Christmas cards that were not of a religious nature. She displayed her cards on a ribbon on each side of several doorways in the mail hall. The non religious ones went on the bottom near the floor!
Your card is lovely and would have been up at eye level on her ribbon. Thanks for taking part in the October Rudolph Days Challenge.

  2. Your card is beautiful Liv! Wonderful idea to add the lyrics from the Christmas Hymn as well as a personalised sentiment. I love the pretty sprig of holly that you placed above the baby Jesus too. Wonderful.
    Cheers,
