Light In The Darkness

It is the darkest time of the year,
and we light the candles.
In Norway we use to have purple candles for Advent.
I thought of purple Advent candles as I made this card.

I used:
White double card A6;
Creme paper;
Purple, creme, orange, pink and green scrap papers;
Embossing folder: Tiny Bubbles (Cuttlebug)
Marianne Design Candle die;
Spellbinders Poinsettia dies;
Papirdesign Holly die;
Black and gold pens;
Glitter glue, gold;
Rhine stone;
Foam pads.

  1. The candle die you used is beautiful Liv, the dripping wax is very effective. I also like the poinsettia and curls of holly. Thank you for sharing the Norwegian tradition of purple candles with us, it's always interesting to hear the different ways people celebrate holidays around the world.
    Cheers,
