Confirmation Card

This is my first post since April!
We have moved to another part of Switzerland,
and I have still not got my new craft room ready.
But I'm happy to discover that my computer is working! 😊
Today I show you a card which I made earlier this year,
before I had to store away all my craft stuff.

The young girl is a big friend of all sorts of animals, and she has got her own aquarium at home. So her grandmother, who ordered this card, wanted me to make something with fish.
Beccy has some wonderful fish images, and I used them on the inside of this card.
The patterned paper is from Lozzy.

Birthday In The Woods

I made this birthday card for a man and used a funny image and sentiment from Beccy.
The trees are made with a selv made stencil. (I used a Nellie Snellen die to get the trees).
Dies:
Spellbinders Tag, WeR Memory Keepes Nesting Card.
I also used Distress inks for the scenery and brown Stabilo marker for the frame.
Birthday greeting in Norwegian.

Maritime Birthday Card

I have been away from blogspot for weeks.
But here I am again with a brand new birthday card.
I covered the name of the birthday child on this foto.

I used:
Paper: ABMTTC,
Image: Beccy.
Dies: Cottage Cutz "Seagull"

Just For You

As I chose the embossing folder for this card,
I thought of brown, crackled early spring soil,
where the first flowers are coming through the surface on sunny days.
Well, here in Europe we don't have just these flowers ....... 😏

For my card I used:
Image and sentiment: Beccy,
coloured with water colour pencils and water brush.
Dies: Spellbinder Circles and Oval.
The little leaf is a leftover from an Elizabeth die cut. (Curvy leaves)
Embossing folder: Darice "Crackled".
Papers: Coffee stained paper for the background, pink scrap paper for the circle.

A Greeting Card for A Girl

Today I made this greeting card for a girl.
At first I thought I would make it a Birthday card, but as I didn't place a sentiment on it,
I think it may be used also for other occasions.

I have got lots and lots of small snippets, and now I try to use them instead of throwing them away. So the small flowers and leaves are from such leftovers.
Punches: EK Success Flower and Atelier Terziev Leaves.

Image: Beccy.
Patterned paper and butterfly: Gi.
And because this card is meant for a girl,
I added glitter (Stickles) to the butterfly and the flowers.

Mini Journal

For a friend of mine I made this little journal.
The papers to write on are coffee stained.
The book itself was made with Amazon packing papers wich I glued together
and decorated with a a designer paper from Gi Kerr.
I coloured the seam binding with beetroot juice. A new experience for me.

The belly band, wich is holding a double pocket tag, is a strip of paper decorated with different snippets.

The tag has got two journal cards inside

A little tag holds a bigger one

I used a selv made stencil for the flowers

Note book

I have made a simple note book.
I glued some sheets of Amazon pack paper together for the outside
and decorated it with a paper from Gi Kerr.
The same paper I used for the little pocket and the journal card inside.
Coffee stained paper for the pages to write on.
The closure is seam binding, also dyed in coffee.

Paper Clips For Christmas Journals

Today I played with snippets and made some paperclips for Christmas journals.
Papers: Leftovers from other projects: Coffee stained papers and book papers.
Images: Beccy.
In the small pocket on every paperclip there is a little paper to journal on.
I inked the edges with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain)

A little journaling paper to write on.

Origami Box

Origami is new for me. Wether my eyes nor my fingers are used to that accurate work.
But I hope I will learn more by practicing, so I'll try again.

I made this little box / pouch to store Christmas images which I am going to use later.
Through the whole year there are Christmas challenges popping up,
and I want to have my small images and sentiments gathered.

I used a coffee stained paper, size A 4.
To know this is a box for Christmas images (I also made boxes for other themes),
I decorated it with a holly image from Beccy and a red ribbon.
Heart punch: Atelier Terziev.
Distress ink: Wallnut Stain.

Closure: a "Christmas red" ribbon

Images waiting to be used

I glued the ribbon to the bottom with a punched heart.

A Little Winter Journal

Happy New Year from Switzerland!
We had a wonderful Christmas time with my family in Norway!
I am so happy we could be there!
It was my first Norwegian Christmas since I moved to Switzerland 2005.

One of the gifts for my granddaughter was a little winter journal made with the "Shades of Winter" set from "Happiness in Crafting" by Gi Kerr.
I also used images and sentiments from Beccy for some of the tags and journal cards.
Different winterly dies and stamps, stencils and embossing folders were used to give the journal a personal look. The papers to write on are coffee stained.
Self coloured seam binding for the closure and the tags,
and of course lots of glitter (Stickles) and distress inks.
Unfortunately I forgot to make fotos of the tags outside the pockets.

Winter journal, front.

An image from Beccy on the little oval tag.

This tag has got an image and a sentiment from Beccy
and coffee coloured seam binding for the bow.

 The middle of the journal.
Paper: Gi Kerr.

A Norwegian winter song to the left, dies from Marianne Design.

A tag with sentiment and image from Beccy.
