A Christmas Journal Page

This November I have not made as many Christmas cards as I used to.
The reason is that I am about to make some Christmas journals for Christmas gifts,
and I wanted to give them to my beloved ones already at the beginning of December.
So there was not that much time for "normal" Christmas cards.
So glad I have made some during the whole year, so I have enough.
Also this post is from the journal. Actually a piece of one of the journal pages.

I used:
Backing paper: Happiness in Crafting (Gi Kerr),
Image and sentiment: Beccy,
Spellbinders Oval die.
Distress ink "Walnut Stain".

Christmas Card

Background for the image: Dark blue panel with some glitter spots.
Die: Nellie Snellen Reindeer.

A Snowman for Norway

For this card I used an image from the Norwegian fb group "Digistamp".
I fussy cut it and glued it to a dark red panel,
which I first scored twice on both sides to get some texture.
The two white lines and the Norwegian Christmas greeting
were made with a white pen.

Christmas Fragrance

Again Beccy gave me a sort of heart attack. Well, not that bad, but it was scary!
When she posts her "it's race time", you have to act in a hurry.
I had made my picture already yesterday. But today I have so much to do ,- housekeeping and such boring things, I had not made my blog ready. A quick look into blogspot, and my heart started bumping!!!
Well, here is my entrance. This time I show two spicy Christmas tags filled with orange peel, cinnamon and cloves.

 Paper and idea: Gi Kerr.
Fabric
Spice
Rhinestones
Ribbon
Bow pin

I cut the orange peel with a star from a border punch and dried the stars a couple of days before I put them together with the spice.

Two Vintage Christmas Tags

For these two Christmas tags I used a backing paper from Gi Kerr for the background.
Behind the fussy cut image from Pinterest I glued a piece of cheesecloth.
The border around the edges was made with a red pen.
Silver glitter.

A Tag For My Christmas Journal

I continue to work on my Christmas journal and made a tag for one of the pages.
The tag and heart dies, are both from Spellbinders.
Image from Pinterest.
Patterned paper: Sigel.
Red scrap papers.
Cheesecloth, Stickles, silver star stone sticker.

Behold The Lamb Of God

Also this post shows a page from my Christmas journal.
For me Christmas means the memory of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
I placed the cross die cut behind the image to show that the same sweet little Jesus from Christmas is the same Jesus who died on the cross to save us.
The sentiment here, taken from John's testimony about Jesus,
points at Him as the Lamb of God.
Christmas, Good Friday and Easter belong to each others!

The sentiment and the image are from Beccy.
Paper: Lozzy (ABMTTC).
Spellbinders Scalloped Oval die.
Cottage Cutz "Easter Cross" die.
I sew a piece of fabric on the edge of the page.
