A Little Note book

 Here is my latest recycling project.
My husband and I bought some garden chairs,
and the tags on them were too good to throw away.
So I made some mini note books. Here is the first one.

At first I gessoed the outside of the tag to hide the print and the photo on it.
The paper for the cover is a freebie from Beccy.
For the inside and the sheets to write on, I used coffee stained paper.
Flower punch: EK Success, Leaf die: Elizabeth Design. (Scraps)
For the closure I made a hole on the front and tied a piece of cotton yarn.

Wedding Card

A friend of mine ordered a wedding card
for her granddaughter's wedding which took place  last weekend.

I used:
A5 blank card.

Jeg fikk bestilling fra en venninne av meg.
Hun ønsket et bursdagskort der motivet skulle forstille henne selv
og søsteren, som hadde bursdag nå i sommer.

Summer Tag

 After many weeks abroad, first in Germany, then in Norway,
we are back home again.
So good to sit down at my desk with all my papers and toys!

There are lots of birthdays coming during the next weeks,

so I made a simple summer birthday tag.
And of course, the tag is upcycled.

Bursdagskort til yngstegutten min

Nå har vi vært på farten i ukevis, først 3 uker på et oppdrag i Tyskland,

deretter 3 ukers ferie, der de to siste ble tilbrakt i Norge.

For meg er det alltid kjekt å komme til fødelandet mitt.

Og de norske sommernettene er bare vidunderlige!

Her sør i Europa blir det så tidlig mørkt om sommeren!

Det ble lite tid til å lage kort mellom de to reisene våre.
Så bursdagskortet jeg laget i full fart til min yngste sønn, ble veldig enkelt.
Det var så gøy å få tak i dette motivet av Wenche Jensen!
For han karen her ligner veldig på gutten min!

Birthday Card For A Bookworm

In the middle of May it was the 75th birthday for my dear husband,

and as he loves books, I wanted to show this on his card.

I used:
Paper: Sigel and scrap papers.
Image and sentiment on the front: Beccy.

Dies: Nellie's Multiframe and WeR Memory Keepers Nesting Card.

On the inside I made a little pocket holding a voucher.
Paper on the pocket: Happiness in Crafting by Gi Kerr.
The voucher was folded as a little "book", decorated with a part of a book paper copy.
I don't like to disturb old books, so I use to make copies of the pages.
