CAS Christmas Card

Some weeks ago I visited an autumn marked, and then I bought a new die.
Today I used it for the first time on this CAS card.
The card has the size A6, and the die cut was glued directly on the card itself.
Gold paper for the die cut, gold Stabilo Metallic pen around the edges.
On the two stars there is a German Christmas greeting: "Frohes Fest".
Inside the card there is a double folded white paper for writing.
Die: Charlie & Paulchen "Waldengel".

Christmas Journal Card

Here comes the next journalling card for my "red" Christmas journal.
I made the background with a holly stencil (Penny Black) for the leaves
and a "Q Tip" for the berries.
Distress inks.
Candle made by Marianne Design die.
Holly die: Papirdesign.
"Gold" glitter on the flame.
Red pen for the lines at the edges.

A Journal Tag

Due to fibromyalgia pains I have not been crafting for a while.
But now I hope I will be able to continue the work on the Christmas journals.
Just now I am working on two different journals, one blue and one traditional red/green.
This tag is for the red one.

Again the tag was made out of a food box. Tag die: Spellbinders.
For the background I used snippets of coffee stained paper and a copy of an old book page,
strips of "gold"paper, gesso and Stabilo Metallic pen, also gold.
The angel is taken form an old Christmas card,
and the little twig of holly is a bit of an image from Beccy.

Journaling Card For My Christmas Journal

This is a simple, thin A6 card, 200 gr.
I did not glue anything on the backside to enforce it.
The scoreboard was used for the lines around the edges.
The image is from Gi Kerr's "Shabby blue Christmas".
I wanted to give the card a cold look,
so I only used light blue Versacolor ink around the edges and for the trees,
and a little silver glitter on the icicles.
Unfortunately the picture does not show the glitter.
For the trees I used a selfmade stencil.

Christmas Mini Card 3

I used:
Embossing folder: Darice "Crackled",
Snippets from a holly die cut (Papirdesign),
red half pearls for the berries.
German Christmas greeting written on computer.
Distress Ink: Candied red.

Christmas Journal Card

Last week Beccy asked me in a comment if my tags are thought for a journal
or for a Christmas marked.
The tags and cards I have made so far I hope to sell on a market.

But today I show a journaling card that I made for my new Christmas Journal.
I want to make a journal just for me. 😊

As so many of the things I make, also this one is upcycled.

The cardstock is from an ice box,
The papers are snippets from a coffee stained paper
and a copy of a music paper.
Image: Gi (Happiness in Crafting).
I also used gesso, stamp, water colour pencils, distress ink and a blue marker for the dots.
This card is a little out of my comfort zone, but I like it.
(On this photo the gold around the image is too yellow.)

Cardinal, Christmas Card

For this card I used one of Beccy's freebies.
Patterned paper: Sigel.
I fussy cut the image, but between the leaves I found it difficult,
so I coloured the white space with Caran d'Ache Watercolor Pencils.
Green Stabilo marker on the edges.

Christmas Card White On White

It was not easy to make a picture of this card,
so I had to use paperclips to keep it closed.
However, they do not belong to the card. 😏

I used white cardstock, scored and foldet it.
On the right side I scored three lines to give the card a little extra structure.
Three dies: Nellie Snellen "Landscape".
Silver glitter glue.

Pink Poinsettia Tag

After I made my last card some days ago, there were some leftovers from the starry paper,
enough for a couple of tags.
On this one I used one of Beccy's images.
Stabilo metal "silver" pen around the edges.

As my husband recently bought a new shirt, I asked for the papers, cardboards etc.
So here comes an upcycled tag that I made from some of that stuff.
I love to use "trash" for my projects.
