Hand Painted Christmas Card For Rudolph Days

Today I tried something quite new.
I made a one layer card,
painted with water colours and ink pencils.
The sentiment is a Norwegian Christmas greeting.
Unfortunately was the paper still wet
as I wrote the letters.
The "G" is trembling ;)

Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: Autumn Colours

It is Tuesday,
and over at Cuttlebug Mania we have a new challenge for you.
We look forward to seeing your projects with autumn colurs.
And please, read our guide lines!

For my DT card I used:
Orange double card, A6,
Green paper, white card stock.
Scrap papers, different colours.

Tim Holtz stencil: Bricks.

Foliage dies:
Memory Box "Maple Leaves", Cottage Cutz "Ivy".

For the flower pot I used Spellbinders "Oval" die,
embossed it with a Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" Embossing folder
and used the scissors to cut the bottom and top.

Colours used:
Dylusions sprays for the leaves,
Caran d'Ache "Water Color Pencils" for the flower pot,
Brown distress ink and grey water colour pencil for the wall.
Brown pen for the twigs.
Rhine stone.
Tool: Cuttlebug, - OF COURSE.

Home, Sweet Home

When I use digital images on my cards,
I often choose pre coloured ones.
But as I saw this stool on one of Beccy's
"Welcome home" set,
I thought of my mother's yellow stool
where she sat as she was sowing and planting.
And while she was doing that during the spring,
I wanted to use light spring colours on my picture.
I have so good memories of my dear parents,
doing their garden so well.

For this card I used:
White double card A6,
White card stock.
Patterned Paper: Dovercraft "Garden Party".
Image: Beccy's "Welcome home".
Dies: Nellie's Multiframe and Papirdesign.
Brown pen around the image and for the faux stitches.
Brown distress ink.
Silver half pearls.
Text written on computer.
Tool: Cuttlebug.
