Place Cards

For my birthday party I made some place cards.
Well, I did not write the names of the guests on them.
Then I wanted my guests to sit where they wanted to.
So on each card I wrote a message:
"Thank you for being here and sharing this day with us!"

For each card I used:
White card stock,
snippets of pink, cream and green papers.
Dies used:
Banner and flower: Marianne design,
Leaves: Cottage Cutz "Ivy" on most of the cards
and leaves from Craft Sensations for a few of them.
I also used brown distress ink, green pen and silver glitter.

Here are some of the cards.
I made the photos at home before we left for Norway.

I also want to show one of the flower decorations,
made by my cousin and her husband.

The celebration took place in Norway
as we had our holidays there,
about one month before my birthday.
So this year my birthday lasted veeeeeery long.
But you don't celebrate your 70th birthday every year, - do you?

I used many snippets on the place cards,
so therefore I want to show them on:

when the sun is shining and there are lots of things to do outside.

CAS Window Card With A Butterfly

After more than a whole month on summer holidays,
it is good to be home again
and to sit down with papers, dies and my beloved Cuttlebug.
We had a lovely time in Norway
together with family and friends.
And we can look back at beautiful memories.

Today I made a "window card"
for the "Spinn The Wheel" over at Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge,
and I decided to emboss the front of the card itself.
