Cuttlebug Mania Challenge "Butterflies And Birds"

It is Tuesday morning,

and that means a new Cuttlebug Mania challenge.

Also this time we have a great prize to win.

For my card I used:

White square double card;

Paper: Dovecraft "Garden Party";

Different scrap papers;

Embossing folder: Lifestyle Crafts "Butterflies";

Spellbinders "Scalloped Oval" die;

 Sweet Dixie "Butterfly" die;

La-La-Land "Corner" die.

For the tiny flowers I used an EK Success punch.

Glass "pearls", brown pen and brown distress ink.

The text is a Norwegian birthday greeting,

written on my computer.

For A Little Fisher Man

I made a CAS card for a man or a boy.
I made it without a sentiment,
so it may be used for different occasions.
I'm still practicing my colouring.
This is a rather new discipline for me.
Until now I nearly always used pre-coloured images.
So well, - now I'm "learning by doing".

Recipe:

Creme double card A6;

Creme paper for the mat;

Blue and brown scrap papers (snippets);

Brown distress ink for the edges, white and brown pens.

Things That Make You Feel Happy

As I bought the digi set "Smooth Seas" from Beccy,

I thought I could use this wonderful sentiment

also for other cards then "sea cards".

Knitting makes me happy,

and I know that also other of my friends feel that happiness

with yarn and knitting needles.

So here is my last card,

a little special, perhaps.
And of course it was not easy to knit with toothpicks!!!

Sentiment: Beccy (from the "Smooth Seas" set);

Toothpicks as knitting needles;

Green cotton yarn;

Blue distress ink and blue pen.

The blue background for the image is painted

with Tombow water colour.

Birthday Card and Birthday Cake

Today my dear husband has birthday.

And because we both love cakes

and have been very careful

with such sweet and fat stuff for months,

we really enjoyed his birthday cake this afternoon.

I baked it myself, of course ;)

It is Tuesday, and that means a new Cuttlebug Mania challenge.

Today we want you to make either

a pop up card, a slider card or a shaker card.

Well, a card or another project which fits the theme.

I dared to get "out of the box"

and made my very first slider card.

Not that easy for old fingers. ;)

I used:

White card stock;

Dark green and light blue papers;

Scrap papers, different colours;

Dies used:

Marianne Design "Ballerina" and My Creative Time "Clouds".

Flowers: EK Success punch.

Stamps: Craft Sensations "Congrats" on the front

and Alt & New on the "hidden" part of the greeting.

Glitter, pen and washi tape, all "gold", black pen.

The hill and the grass are free cut.

(I think I need a grass die :D)

At first I want to say a warm WELCOME

to Anesha and Stefanie as my new followers!

Ab und zu gibt es grosse Überraschungen,

die den Tag zum leuchten bringen.

Diese Woche hat uns ein Freund mitgeteilt,

dass er einen grossen Fisch gefangen hatte,

und er und seine Frau wollten uns ein Teil davon schenken.

Wir hatten eine sehr schmackhafte Malzeit.

Als Dankeschön machte ich ihm diese Karte.

Für die Challenge "Animal Friends" ist sie vielleicht "gewagt"?

Denn der Fisch ist ja tot! ;)
