Cuttlebug Mania Challenge: Ribbon and Bows

It is Tuesday,

and that means a new challenge over at Cuttlebug Mania.

Today the theme is "Ribbon and Bows".

I made a candy box with place for 3 "Branches" chocolates.

They are popular here in Switzerland.

The box is made with a WeR Memory Keepers Candy Box punch.

Dies used:

Label (Papirdesign), "Ivy" (Cottage Cutz), Butterfly (Studio Light "Home and Happiness").

Flowers: EK Success punch.

I also used distress ink, glitter and rhinestones.

Rabbit image: Free Dearie Dolls.

Scrap papers, different colours and purple ribbons.

Easter wish written on my computer.

On one of the sides there is place to write a greeting.

Happy Birthday

This birthday card was made for a friend of ours

who had her birthday last week.

I dared to move outside my comfort zone

and made a bigger card than I usually do.

All the flowers are handmade.

I used:

Embossing folder: Darice (used for the first time);

Für meine Enkeltochter in Norwegen habe ich

ein ganz schlichtes Valentine Kärtchen gebastelt.

Spellbinders Dies und Atelier Terziev Punch;

Rosa und schwarz Filzschreiber;

Cuttlebug Maschine.

Drinnen habe ich einen Gruss geschrieben und ein Schokoladenherz im roten Metallfolie aufgeklebt.

Die Karte ist in Norwegen gut angekommen,

und mein Enkelkind hat sich gefreut.

Cuttlebug Mania Colour Challenge

It is Tuesday, and that means another Cuttlebug Mania Challenge.
I made a CAS Birthday card as my DT card.

This is a colour challenge, and we want you to use
a combo of some or all of these colours:
Turquoise, purple, grey and white.

On A Rainy Day (Birthday ?)

I think I may use this card for a birthday,

or perhaps only as a smile on a rainy day.

To have the opportunity to choose,

I did not stamp a special greeting on it.

This was the first time I tried to colour the image with Tombow.

I need much more practice with them

before I think it is good enough.

But to learn something new, you have to start.

And at least I did.

CAS Birthday Card for a Man

On the blog "The Male Room" there is this challenge:

"Inspired by Television".

I got inspired from a series about hiking on Swiss Television,

and as I got this month's freebie from Beccy's Place,

I thought of the song "These boots are made for walking".

For this birthday card

I used the same image as for two other cards I made recently.

I love this mage, and therefor I want to have it

on many greeting cards.

The text is the beginning of the song "Happy birthday to you",

in German.

Today I made a Mother's Day card

CAS Santa Card

It's the first day of the second month of the year,

and I have made a Christmas card. (!)

I wanted to make a very simple one,

with the main colour red.

So what is then better than a RED Santa?
